Some activities at the Château require you to have certain clothing/equipment

When packing your bags, check this list to make sure you haven't forgotten anything. Be aware that if you do not wear the compulsory clothing, you will not be able to participate in the activities.

Archery (Tir à l'arc)
  • Long-sleeved top
  • Closed footwear
Climbing (Escalade)
  • Closed sports footwear
  • Sports trousers (No jeans)
Canoeing / Raft Building (Canoë / Radeaux)
  • Swimming costume
  • Old trainers (No Wellington boots)
  • A large towel

Assault Course (Parcours de santé)
  • Swimming costume
  • OLD CLOSED FOOTWEAR (or wellington boots)
  • OLD CLOTHES including a LONG-SLEEVED TOP and a PAIR OF TROUSERS (No leggings)
  • A large towel

Initiative Exercises (Exercices d'Initiative)
  • Wellington boots or trainers
  • Old clothes
Orienteering (Orientation)
  • Wellington boots or trainers
  • Coat (if wet/cold weather)
  • Watch
Fencing (Escrime)
  • Sports trousers (No Jeans or leggings)
  • Closed sports footwear
  • T-shirt
Aeroball (Aéroballe) -
  • Change of socks (if wet weather)
The Farm (La Mini Ferme) 
  • Old closed footwear or wellington boots
  • Long-sleeved top

For Climbing, Fencing, Canoeing/Raft Building, Assault Course and Aeroball - ALL JEWELLERY MUST BE REMOVED.
